The children have been working very hard and sharing their knowledge using our Working Walls. The children have been working very hard and sharing their knowledge using our Working Walls.
It’s been another amazing and exciting term for year 3. The students have hit the ground running after nearly six months off due to covid and what an amazing time they’ve had!
In English, the children have been reading ‘Voices in the Park’ by Anthony Browne and using the text to construct their very own character to add to the story, while in maths, students have been learning how to add and subtract and how to interpret data and plot this information on a bar graph.
In Topic, we have looked at how food is imported and exported from a range of different countries which coincided with our work on animals and humans in Science. In Religion, we have looked at Christianity and Sikhism and the children are learning the basics of programming using ‘Scratch’ in their computing. Children are also enjoying their French and Music lessons. We enjoyed Black History week as well and spent time finding out about key figures that made a difference.
