This week in Reception Apple class we have been learning about the Jewish Festival of Lights, Hanukkah.
This year Hanukkah begins on the 10th of December and ends on Friday 18th December.
We learnt about the Menorah which is a special type of candle holder.
During Hanukkah, people light one candle of the Menorah each day.
We created our own Menorah paintings using
gold paint to represent the flames.
We really enjoyed it!
